Mothaplant is a Vermont cannabis dispensary. The rebrand delivered a full brand identity, logo system, packaging, and illustration, designed as a system rather than a fixed look. The identity holds a 70s-inspired energy within a clean, contemporary framework.
Bold color and playful typography remain consistent across applications, while variation is isolated to a single element. A central character anchors the system, with a reflective detail in the sunglasses that updates for holidays and events, allowing the brand to change throughout the year without altering core assets or resetting recognition. The system was built to be maintained in-house, enabling updates without designer oversight while keeping the identity intact.
